- 10.12.2025 (regarding funds in 2026)
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FUNDS CAN ONLY BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE IT WAS GIVEN AND THE FUNDS CAN ONLY BE USED IN THE CURRENT YEAR.

We encourage you to publish via AAU’s open access journals as much as at all possible. You can find them at the following link:

If you apply for means from HST’s annuum for open access publications at other journals not included in the above agreement in future, you will be asked to account for why it is not possible to use one of the journals in the agreement instead, and furthermore, it might still not be possible for HST to comply with your wishes.
Therefore, please consider using AAU’s Open Access journals as much as possible as it is free of charge and to the benefit of us all here at HST.
- Maximum amount given pr. application is 10.000 kr.
- In connection with the allocation of funds it will be taken into consideration if you already have other options for
funding (e.g. external project funding)
- Granted funds cannot be transferred to other activities
- Funding for conferences will only be granted if you present a paper in connection with your participation - You must include a total budget for your conference related expenses. Please also state how you plan to cover the remaining costs, if any.
- You can also apply for funding of other things eg. research equipment. Tick the box for other activities/expenses.
We expect to send replies to everyone within a couple of weeks after deadline.
